By popular demand, I visited Charlie De Cod ! So many people recommended this spot, and I can see why – the fish and chips were absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone craving great fish and chips in Ipswich!

Yum yum yum yum!!!! Who doesn't love fresh fish and chips at a reasonable price? Get in early, there's a que for this place and for good reason. Everything is good and fresh and hot. Portions are a good size, far from stingy. We really like this place. It's clean, the guys cook at an incredible pace and do a great job. Most people do take away but there are tables out front if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal right away. We tried the deep fried mars bar for the first time, heads up, it's not a full mars bar, it's the fun size ones. Pics attached for reference.

Lovely fresh fish and seafoods value for money, good size portions and sauces all was beautifully cooked and if its seafood you are thinking of having then Charlie De Cod is where you should go. You will be pleased you did.

You know it's a Great fish & chip shop if the queue goes out into the carpark!!!! Keep up the Great Food Charlie De Cod!!! Update/extra review added June 2025 We tried to order our dinner from Charlie De Cod last night... We tried 83 times to get a phone call through, finally gave up and cooked at home ourselves. They are so popular!!
